On a crisp, not quite-autumn Tuesday evening in London, we were treated to an exclusive introduction to Wirral sibling trip Yee Loi at Yungblud’s Denmark Street store, as the band celebrated the announcement of their upcoming debut album ‘Flicks, licks, party tricks’

Nestled cosily in the basement of Yungblud’s Denmark Street store - the Bratty venue was everything you could want from an intimate gig: packed to the brim, loud (as hell) and inevitably, incredibly sweaty.

And Yee Loi wasted absolutely no time in proving why they’re a band you should keep your eye on.

The sibling trio blazed through their set packed with unmistakable energy filled with recent singles ‘Social Suicide’ and ‘Down In The Bunker’ alongside breakout tracks including ‘Why Ask Why’ and ‘Mystery Train’. We were also given a taster of unreleased unheard tracks ‘Miraclist’ and ‘Picture Perfect’.

They’re the powerhouse punk rock band that every teen engrossed in music, dreams of being in; effortlessly cool, raw and completely their own.

This October, the band will hit the road supporting legendary ‘80s pop-punk icons - Transvision Vamp, on their first full UK tour since 1991.

And it’s not just the tour we’re looking forward too, there’s even more on the horizon for Yee Loi: they announced on the night that their debut album - ‘Flicks, licks, party tricks’ will be released on 15th January 2027.

Their debut album will also be available for pre-save from Tuesday 5th October via Townsend.

If the intimacy of this show was anything to go by,   Yee Loi are just getting started - and they’re not slowing down.
