On the 11th of June, I had the incredible opportunity to attend Universal Music’s exclusive Olivia Rodrigo new album listening party, and it was nothing short of wonderful.

Every single time, Universal Music manages to create an experience that goes far beyond just listening to music. They have truly mastered the art of bringing fans together in a way that makes everyone feel like they are part of the artist’s world. From the atmosphere to the people, the energy in the room was filled with excitement, connection and genuine love for Olivia and her music.

What makes these listening parties so special is not only the chance to hear the music, but the community that comes with it. Fans get to meet one another, share their excitement, make friends and form connections that continue long after the event is over. Personally, I have made some incredible friends and connections through these Universal events, and getting to be part of them feels like an absolute dream come true.

Olivia Rodrigo is an unbelievably talented artist, and experiencing this album in a room full of people who truly admire her made it even more special. Hearing her inspirations from older artists come through in such a fresh, honest and powerful way was amazing. She has such a unique ability to turn emotion into music that feels personal, relatable and beautifully crafted.
