On a blistering summer evening, fans streamed into the industrial venue, The Prospect Building, for an up close and personal, intimate performance, launching Yungblud’s 4th studio album, Idols. The Crane Room’s raw textures, lofty ceilings and prominent crane architecture soaking up the anticipation and excitement from the crowd, who were ready to explode as YUNGBLUD took the stage.

With the kind of electric energy only he can bring, YUNGBLUD took to the stage to massive cheers. Leaping across the stage with the opening track of his new album Idols, Hello Heaven, Hello, before bringing it down, grabbing his acoustic guitar, and captivating the audience with Idols Pt 1.

Yungblud loves his audience, and that audience return the love ten fold, some fans openly tearful as they sing, not missing a word, hanging over the front barrier, home made signs in hand. Engaging, waving, blowing kisses, Dominic knows how to show the crowd how much he values them. He really has created the most intimate and emotionally connected fan base.

It’s not all energetic leaps and bounds however. Yungblud takes a moment before playing his newest single release, Zombie, to share his sincere thanks to the audience, in an emotionally raw and openly human moment. He tells the fans how grateful he is, and how each one of them, no matter what they are going through in life, each one of them has the support of every one of his fan community. Zombie already hits hard, talking about shutting the world and our loved ones out, of fear of becoming a burden, and how we all want someone to comfort us.

Before closing on his stunning track Ghosts, Yungblud speaks to the crowd once again, with the goosebump inducing piano intro playing behind the words, building to the emotional climax of the evening, sharing that experience of vulnerability, raw and unfiltered. Yungblud doesn’t just perform, he transforms a room and connects a community.
