Bloodworm’s Alone In Your Garden feels like a haunting mix of The Cure and The Cult, with a slight touch of The Awakening in its darker atmosphere. It has this almost creepy yet upbeat energy that makes the song feel moody, theatrical, and deeply captivating from the start.

The depth of the vocals immediately stands out. There is something dramatic and emotional in the delivery that pulls you into the song’s world, and by the 1:11 mark, it genuinely gave me goosebumps. It is the kind of track that feels made for late-night listening, especially when you are in your feels and want something atmospheric to play on repeat.

Lyrically, the song explores a beautiful yet toxic love, which makes it feel painfully relatable. It captures the feeling of being trapped in a relationship that looks and sounds beautiful on the outside, but hides something colder and more damaging behind closed doors. The repeated line about “winter waking” is especially powerful, and the irony of getting goosebumps at that exact moment only makes it hit harder.

Alone In Your Garden is haunting, emotional, and beautifully unsettling. It is definitely a track I will be downloading and coming back to.
